Our
process for developing your estimate
has three-steps:
PHASE ONE
We invite you to visit
our showroom, either by specific appointment,
or at your more general walk-in convenience.
During this meeting,
we talk together about your project
and about the range of materials available,
as well as who we are and how we work.
There is no fee for
this visit.
PHASE TWO
You invite us to your
home to develop an estimate,
We take measurements,
and further discuss your needs and
wants.
If the goal is basically
replacement, keeping things in the
same place, the design fee is $250.
That would include in places changes,
e.g., a tub to a shower, or a small
vanity to a pedestal sink.
If the goal involves
redesign of the space, moving fixtures
and/or moving walls within the bathroom
or taking a piece of an adjacent closet
or bedroom to enlarge the bathroom,
the design fee is $450.
The design fee
is paid when the appointment is set.
The fee will be applied to your labor
costs if you elect to do the job
with us; otherwise, it is compensation
for the time and expertise we have
expended on your behalf.
PHASE THREE
We complete the estimate,
with itemized materials and labor costs,
and invite you back to the showroom
to review it.
We work together to
be sure that the estimate reflects
exactly what you want, and make specific
adjustments as necessary. Should a
revision of the design be requested
after the review, one such revision
will be covered by the initial design
fee.
When you are ready
to work with us, you give us a deposit
on materials, and we put you on the
calendar.
We help you select
the balance of your materials, either
at that time or within the following
week, and materials are ordered.
A formal contract detailing
the materials and labor is then prepared;
please read the document carefully
as the materials selected and the labor
undertaken will follow these contracted
details.
